I've been doing some research.
Studying Logic and Philosophy proper.
A lot of my previous posts have very messy ideas and are ill structured.
I'm too lazy to correct them.
The newer stuff will be more up to standard.

Fornever
The dear monk is ever so diligent, for he cares for the flame at the altar everyday.
Replenishing the oil when it's low.
Shielding it from the wind's blow.
Does he not realise that regardless of the flame's lifespan, it is never the same?
From when it was lit, from when it eventually dies.
Never the same, as the time flies.
Which naive soul would believe that it is truly the same flame?
Never fed by the same fuel.
Appearing constant only to you.
Nor are we, people, truly the same.
Not when we are at our best.
Not when we eventually face our death.

Integrated Resort
If gambling should be condemned, then life should be too.
Every second you exist, you place a bet on your happiness.
You hope that everything you have done, all the times you've suffered, wouldn't be for naught.
Praying that at the end of the day you can accomplish something.
The house always wins.
6.684 Billion people living on Earth.
Winners cannot exist without losers.
The odds are against you.
Every second you exist, you place a bet on your happiness.

Praying that at the end of the day you can accomplish something.

So why drag on?
Quit Gambling, Quit Life.

The Great Divide Is Nigh
Comprehension of the true value of existence is the highest moral goal any sentient being can wish to accomplish.
It is, however, a goal without reward.
No bliss gained, no suffering lessened.
One would then question the motive behind attaining such an understanding of existence, such brahman.
The motive is not to seek out the ungratifying knowledge, the pointless truth,
but rather to avoid being in a state of ignorance and naivity.
To pry away from the beast governed by instincts that lives within us all.
Man is something that ought to be overcome.

Shoot the doves
What is happiness without sorrow?
What is love without hate?
Where is your point of reference for anything, without it's polar opposite?
Understand the duality that encompasses all.
The necessity of sin, of war, hatred, suffering.
Understand that there is nothing to hate, not even hatred itself.
For without hate, love cannot exist.
Understand that there is nothing to love, not even love itself.
For love requires hatred, and hatred is not to be desired.
Understand that eventually there is nothing to hate or love.
No true happiness, no true sorrow.
This is the state of an existential death.

Annihilation of the lux
True love cannot exist. Why?
Because your very nature forbids it.
The sole purpose in your existence is procreation.
To continue the long and pointless path of evolution.
And the basis of 'true love' serves to deny such a purpose.
Fools would argue in favour of the existence of 'true love' by stating that altruism is proof.
And that is why you are a fool. Never to see the light of day, never to know that the day will end.
Dwelling in nothingness is what keeps you safe from your own inability to accept what you hate and fear.

The chess master would never be surprised if he loses, for he has seen all probability.
In the context of chess, omniscience of the board is possible with practice.
Any possible move can be anticipated by the human mind.
However in the context of life itself, we yearn for surprise.
We yearn to be shocked and awed, to have something unknown thrown at us.
And yet, we wish to preserve our fundamental beliefs.
Humanity is naive.

Chained
Society only gives you just enough time to work, just enough money to survive.
No more.
What is a master without his slave? Nothing.*
*Do note that I am not an advocate of communism or socialism. To date, humanity hasn't come up with a truly effective form of governance worthy of my advocacy.

There is no beauty in being.
Humanity grants such importance and significance to itself that it refuses to believe that God takes chances with its existence.
Humanity grants such importance and significance to itself that it refuses to believe that its very existence was an accident.
Humanity grants such importance and significance to itself that it refuses to believe that it was not created in any divine image.
Humanity grants such importance and significance to itself that it refuses to believe that there is nothing for it after death.
Humanity grants such importance and significance to itself, yet not enough significance to declare themselves Gods in their own right.

Mutton
Like how the physicist searches for the Theory of Everything
The philosopher searches for the Meaning of Everything.
Like how Heisenberg's uncertainty principle states that measuring a particle's position makes its velocity uncertain, and vice versa
Knowing the meaning of something makes its value uncertain, maybe even void.
But unlike quantum physics, there is no probability distribution.
There is choice.

Between Logic and Reason
Logic states that 1 + 1 = 2
Reason states that a smile conveys happiness.
Logic continues long after we perish.
Reason perishes with us.
The laws of physics continues long after we perish.
The laws of the judiciary perishes with us.
God, perishes with us.

Peak Oil Is Nigh
Strikes and protests against rising fuel costs?
Demanding government subsidies?
What are these people, stupid?
Obviously the price of oil will increase when the supply decreases.
Do they think that the governments are pocketing the money?
And where would the money for subsidies come from? Taxes.
When more taxes are diverted to subsidising fuel costs, you're going to have to pay more taxes.
When people start paying more taxes, they protest against it.
Democratic governments will inevitably succumb to the protests and inflation will follow.
Standards of living will decline and drive people further into desperation.
Does the whole scene look familiar to you? No?
The Great Depression? Rise of Hitler? World-F'ing-War-Two?
All this just because a bunch of halfwits thought it was a good idea to go on strike against the rising fuel costs.
And all this just because of the "Power of the (stupid) people".
Humanity needs to patch up the bugs in democracy.
Are you ready for a revolution?

Selling Grace
Why do people expect a others to thank them when they commit acts of goodwill?
If you do something in return for gratitude then you are not truly showing grace, you are selling it.
"Sold Grace" deserves no thanks.
Why do people refuse gratitude when they commit acts of goodwill?
Is that modesty? Humility?
No. It's fake, stupid, hypocritic and disgusting.
If you truly did a favour without expecting gratitude but you were thanked, accept it.
Acknowledge it, take it in your stride. Say "You're welcome".
Don't be a pompous asshole and think that by denying the gratitude you're being the bigger person.
You're not.

Debug the Debugger
Reason defines everything, but what defines reason?
Reason can only go as far as the feeble human mind can comprehend.
But we all know that the human mind is pathetic beyond salvation.
Therefore reason holds no ground?
There Is No Fucking Point.
Reason ≠ Logic

Syntax Error
Some people view suicide as proof of free will.
They argue that assuming by virtue of evolution, suicide shouldn't exist now, because all those who have died by means of suicide have their genes terminated from the genepool.
As such, remaining human beings are genetically incapable of the idea of suicide.
But yet suicides still exist. Because people actually have a choice.
However there are two major flaws in this argument.
1. The argument leaves out genetic mutation. It also assumes that the individuals committed suicide before producing progeny.
2. People do not actively seek death simply as an act. They seek death to avoid things.
To avoid pain, to avoid suffering. And by virtue of evolution, the instinct to avoid pain and suffering can never be erased. Such instinct is the cause of most suicides and as such negates the idea that suicide is an act of free will.

Choose your path
Do you want to achieve in life, or do you want to experience life?
Achievement requires long term planning, loads of hardwork, sacrifices and a lot of displeasure during its course.
You cannot experience life in its full glory if you strive to Achieve, for the fundamental principles required for any decent Achievement would negate the value of any positive experience.
Long term planning required for Achievement, negates the spontaneity in life.
To work hard is to spend time experiencing displeasure.
It is also sacrificing time. Time that can be spent on pursuing pleasure.
Is any Achievement worth the sacrifice of the fun in life?
Would you rather conquer half the globe during your lifespan,
Or would you rather have fun and experience the magic that is life?
OK maybe the conquering the world part is a bad analogy, since I find war fun.
Just goes to show what's fun to one person might not be fun to another.

Yes, we can.
"...You can't go on hiding yourself
Behind old fashioned fairytales
And keep washing your hands in innocence"
Epica - Cry for the Moon [lyrics]
To live is to hide, to create a castle of lies and fairytales.
Tales that began even before the birth of self.
Tales that will continue after one's death.
However profound it may be to reach for nothing but the truth,
It is still a naive concept.
A concept that only machines can realise.

Hope is a drug
Hope is regulated and sold to the masses.
Humanity is addicted to this naive concept and craves for more,
The price paid being logic and reason.

From the Babel Fish
God is an interesting concept, because it can only exist when it is not proven.
To prove the existence of God would be to deny faith, for God can only exist with faith.
Without faith, God cannot exist.
So to prove the existence of God, would be to destroy faith, which would render the logic of an existing God void.
So if you believe in a God, do not prove its existence.
For the only way your God can exist, is pure faith.
As such, please do not try to justify your beliefs with logic, it is pointless.
And also, this would mean that logic allows certain individuals to be without God.
For God exists as a personal entity.

Nihilo Ex Nihilo
Can something come from nothing?
Nothing can come from nothing.
Therefore: Nothing = Nothing.
It can also be written as -(Nothing) = -(Nothing)
Which can also be written as Something = Something
The statement that Something = Something came from the logic that Nothing = Nothing.
So therefore in primal origin, Something came from the logic of the nature of Nothing.
Agreed? Yes?
Wrong.
There is an error in logic in this paradox (as with all paradoxes), see if you can spot, describe and define it.

Every conceivable idea for the purpose of the universe has already been put forth.
Does this mean that at least one of these ideas is true?
If so, that would mean that human beings are capable of reading the mind of God.
This would be in contradiction to God's omniscience.
If we know what God knows, then are we not omniscient as a species as well?
Therefore a solution to this paradox would be to conclude that every idea humanity has put forth is false, simply because none can be allowed by logic to be true.
Thus it can be concluded that the nature of the universe is to elude humanity's best understandings, to defy logic simply just so that we cannot know what it's nature is.
Or in otherwords, the purpose is pure random uncertainty.

Review yourself, Animal.
"The clockmaker hypothesis is a tenet of deism that states that God created the universe, but has not interfered with its operation since then. The analogy is that of a clockmaker who makes a clock, winds it up, and lets it run. This is still an argument from ignorance, since such claim cannot be proved." - Wikipedia
Argument from ignorance? Such claim cannot be proved?
Argument from ignorance? Such claim cannot be proved?
Please, whoever it is that wrote that, explain to me the point in declaring Deism as ignorant.
Can you name me a claim that CAN be proved?
To prove is to establish fact, and fact is the truth.
And there is no absolute truth.
In effect, you are claiming that every conceivable idea of humanity IS an argument from ignorance. That might be so, yet you choose to apply this idea to Deism.
Have you got something against Deism?
To pledge allegiance is to be an animal.
